Dilated common bile duct and gas problem
Sir., I got my gall bladder removed through laproscipic 2 years back. From past two months I am having excessive gas problem, bloating and belching and two times I had excessive vomiting in the past one month. Ultrasound showed dilated common bile duct of 9.5 mm. Blood test showed cholestrol serum 264 mg/dl and LDL 145.9 mg/dl. Liver function test had SGPT of 65.2 U/L. and rest everything normal. Sir please help.

Hi dilated common bile duct can be due to either A stone in common bile duct or there may be swallowing of common bile duct called as CHOLEDOCHAL CYST. Kindly get specially GGT test done. GET A MRCP ( MRI)DONE and send me the reports, will help you out.
