Difference between Ropark vs Ropark XL
My mother was taking Ropark 2mg thrice a day along with Syndopa 110 4 times a day. Recently we visited a neurologist, and they suggested that she replaces Ropark with Ropark XL 2MG twice a day. She has been taking Ropark XL 2 mg for over a week but has developed symptoms like swelling all over her body, and slow movement. Is this because of Ropark XL? Should she go back to taking Ropark? What is the difference between both medications? Which one is higher dosage? Any guidance will be helpful.

No difference between the two. They are of exact same dosage. Swelling of leg could be a side effect of any dopaminergic medication- Ropinirole/ pramipexole.
