Is it possible to measure accurate eye power, by dilated retinoscopi examination? And does the result of eye power can be different from normal distant vision test?

Hi, I think it should be the doctors prerogative , in which case you need a dilated check n which you may not ..depending on many factors . eye power can be measured correctly with or without dilatation depending on age, type of number etc.. Both number can look different to you, doctor will decide what to prescribe !

Hello Cycloplegic refraction helps to measure eye power accurately as accommodation is relaxed. However PMT or post mydriatic test is equally important
