Diabetic retinopathy, for near vision
Hi, My relative has been diagnosed with retinal detachment due to  diabetic retinopathy in both eyes. He has undergone surgery for the same. He has difficulty in near vision- reading and writing. Can you please suggest what options he has.

Hi, He can use near vision glasses along with magnifying glasses for reading and writing.  Additionally he should Control his sugars.  HbA1c should be less than 7. Walking at least 3-4  km every day is advised.
