Diabetic edema
My mother has DME, as per the initial diagnosis of the ophthalmologist. Now we think it might just be the initial stage, and hence can be controlled by controlling sugar. The treatments which are available are an injection in the retina and a laser operation. Would like a second opinion on what to do. Also if there is a way to identify whether the edema is severe or can it b controlled through control of sugar
