Recurrent cystitis / yeast infections are common with patients with uncontrolled diabetes as the immunity of the person gets dampened with poor glycemic control. we may have to get a urine culture and sensitivity along with ultra sound abdomen and pelvis to rule out other causes of recurrent cystitis and treat accordingly. But the most important factor is to address the root cause , i.e to have the diabetes well controlled.
