Alcohol may lead to severe hypoglycemia. some medications for example from sulfonylurea group like glimeperide, gliclazide etc breaks into liver. Alcohol as well gets degraded in liver. Imo it is better to skip night dose of such medication in case of alcohol consumption. Limit your alcohol intake to not more than 2 pegs for males and 1 for females at a time.
