I think I may be depressed. I’ve been feeling down for almost a year. I’ve not seen a doctor because I’m to scared to tell my mum so I’ve come online.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately. Since you are a minor your parents will have to accompany you for the visit.

U may speak to any doctor about ur problems n obtain advice on how to go about it. Mental health issues r due to disturbance in the neurochemicals in d brain. So u need not blame urself or nyone els for it. However dese r treatable conditions. Seek help at d earliest for better outcome.
