Nilavembu formulation has antiviral and antimicrobial action, which helps to prevent and treat viral as well as bacterial infections. It relieves body ache, fatigue, headache, energy loss, joint pain, muscle ache, and inflammation associated with fever or pyrexia.  Nilavembu Kudineer along with aqueous extract of papaya leaves or papaya leaf juice and guduchi is very beneficial for the management of the Dengue fever.  Dosage : decoction infants 2.5-5ml daily after food Adults :30ml -60ml twice daily Also you have to eat a balanced wholesome diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Include plenty of milk and milk products to ensure your immune system is well equipped to fight back the infection. Wearing protective clothing will help prevent further infections. Long sleeves, full pants, and socks would help avoid dengue mosquito bites.Avoid travel to known dengue-endemic regions, especially in humid, warm or wet seasons. Targeting the vector is currently the only method of preventing dengue. Eliminating water sources as much as possible in and around your house may be the best way of preventing breeding grounds.  Regular use of insecticides and mosquito repellents also may help. Exposing dark and cool areas of your house to sunlight and air would aid in drawing out the dengue mosquito.
