Delaying periods
My sister had a medical abortion two months ago on November 2 n had periods on 1st day of the month on December n January... Now is it okay if she takes period delaying pills bcs we hve a family ocassion she cant miss on 1st February... Will it be okay or do her some harm She has bought regestrone pills... How should she take it

She can take Tab.Regesterone 5mg 2 times a day up to a maximum of 2 weeks , This is a very safe medicine The pills should be started 3-4 days prior to the date when periods are due -periods will return after 5-10 days of stopping the pills;

Hello...... If she starts from today she should continue to take pills daily till 2 or 3.. Periods occur 2 to three days after stopping tablet.. Taking tablet once in while is OK but it should not be routine habbit... Because it causes hormonal imbalance.....
