Delayed period problem
I, a 28 year old unmarried (virgin) lady, got my last period on 5th july and till the date my cycle was totally normal (always 5/6 days). I felt less blood flow in my last 3 cycle (May, June, July) but the duration was 4/5 days. I got no period since july. I'm under checking of a homeopathy doctor from 3rd September and I faced a little spotting from 20th september to 28th September. Last year (2025) I got more than 13 period and the blood flow was totally normal. My cycle was always between 25 to 30 days with no pain. I have no other symptoms like acne, facial hair, pain etc. Weight - 60 kg Height - 4 ft 11 inch. I have done usg and it shows "Both overies are bulky in size. Peripherally located multiple tiny cysts are seen inside both overies arranged in necklace pattern. Right ovary size : 2.83 * 2.44 * 2.86 ;  volume: 10.3 cc and Left ovary size : 2.63 * 3.73 * 2.36 ;  volume: 11 cc. It's written that "Bilateral Polycystic ovarian Morphology"

Thank you for your follow-up. I had responded to your query 7 days ago after reviewing your detailed history. I understand your concern as your cycle has not resumed to normal since 5th July, with only spotting noted from 20th-28th September. Your USG showing Bilateral Polycystic Ovarian Morphology with increased ovarian volume (10.3cc & 11cc) and your BMI of ∼26.7 are important points that need correlation with clinical examination and hormonal evaluation.
Next Steps
Since the pattern is persisting despite treatment since 3rd September, I would strongly advise you to consult your Gynecologist in person with: 1. Your menstrual diary (May 2025 till date) 2. All USG and blood reports, including TSH, Prolactin, LH, FSH if done 3. List of all medicines you are taking This will help your doctor to decide the further line of management. Please do not start/stop any medicine without medical advice.
Health Tips
If you develop severe lower abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, fever, dizziness or vomiting, please seek urgent care. This is for information only and not a diagnosis. Hope you get better soon.

Your scan shows the 'necklace' pattern of small cysts along both ovaries. This is called polycystic ovarian morphology. It's common, and on its own it doesn't always mean PCOS as a syndrome, especially without acne or excess hair. Missing your period for three months still needs a cause found, and homeopathy alone is unlikely to correct a hormonal reason for missed periods.
Next Steps
Ask for a hormone panel including thyroid, prolactin and androgen levels to find the cause. Then see your gynaecologist to decide whether lifestyle steps or medication to restart your cycle are needed.
Health Tips
Going three months or more without a period needs proper evaluation, since the uterine lining can build up unchecked meanwhile.
