Hi,
I want to marry my cousin, but I have heard that it may cause into defected offspring.
My father and her father are brothers, but both moms are not related what so ever. Will that affect any offspring
If yes, then how much percentage chance will it increase of having defected offspring.

it is v difficult to give you a number but yes consangunous marriages do lead to higher chances of anomalies compared to nonconsangunous ones . If you do plan to marry there r many tests that can be done to know whether the baby has any chromosomal anomalies in the first 3 months itself so that proper management can be done .
