Dark mode beneficial for eyes ?
My job requires severe exposure to screens. I take precautions like 20-20-20, Anti glare glass, etc.. But, have a doubt on dark mode (Most of the screen contents turn into black, and white text is displayed on black background). There are contrasting opinions in the internet. Some say it's good because the exposure of eyes to white (and hence blue) light significantly reduces. But, on the other hand, it would lead to dilation of pupils, making the vision less sharp. I've no vision problems based on recent medical checkup. Which mode is more useful for me ?

If the room is well-lit, why should there be pupil dilatation while using dark mode for laptop screen?
Next Steps
If still in doubt, lowering the brightness of the laptop screen and using Antiglare glasses can be preferred instead.
