Damaged skin
Hi, my face skin is tanned and due the tan my face is much darker than my chest/neck. I've been on treatment from 5 months. And so far I haven't noticed that much effect on my skin, though the doctor had said that it would take 4 months for my skin to recover. So now that it's been 5 months, now im getting second thoughts, can my skin really recover and match with my natural skin complexion? If so how many months would it take? And shall I seek help from someone else? Also in my childhood I had been diagnosed by Alopecia, by ayurvedic treatment It was sort of cured, my present dermatologist is also taking care of my hair issues such as hair fall and to increase volume of my hair!!

There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please call me or send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment. ,
