Daibetic, I fall in the Obese class 1
I am 30 years old, recently i was diagnosed diabetic. My Father and Mother are both diabetic, my paternal grand mother was also diabetic, recently my maternal grandmother has also been diagnosed diabetic recently, she is of 72 years of age. I considered by myself Type 2 diabetic as the medication prescribed by doctor- Metformin 500 mg, twice a day. Recently i heard of something called LADA. I am very depressed whether i may have beenwrongly diagnosed, i may be actually suffering from this LADA.

The first diagnosis in you would be type 2 diabetes. Lada seems unlikely. Testing for lada seems unnecessary at present.
