Cyst /nodule on Uvula
Hi ! my 10month old son is having yellowish white cyst kind of swelling on uvula/near uvula found accidentally, asymptomatic, took ent opinion locally gave amoxiclav n cheston cold initially said probably need exicision. i really need an opinion if epidermoid cyst /mucosal cysts of this kind regress on its own or need exicision.

Epstein's pearls or mucosal cysts of newborn can sometimes go unnoticed for months. They tend to resolve on their own. If they are not symptomatic or have any other changes over time, they may be left alone.
