Cut on inside thumb hurts after 1 month
About a month ago, I accidentally cut the inside of my right thumb. The cut is on the second inside wrinkle from the top. The bleeding was pretty intense but I rinsed it with 80% ethanol and applied neosporin and bandages. The next day, I removed the bandages and rinsed with water and applied peroxide and neosporin with a band aid. I did this for about a week. It's now been a month but the wound only looks semi closed. Many areas on the inside of that thumb (and sides) are numb (outside of the cut). It also hurts to fully extend my thumb. It has dull pain when pressure is applied to the thumb in areas outside of the cut. The thumb also gets dry a lot and tends to crack. Will the thumb eventually heal or what type of dr (Family, Urgent, Hand Specialist) should I see? I do not know if I require stitches or a MRI or anything...
