Joint pain and muscle ache could be a result of a number of issues and without thorough history it would be extremely difficult to pin point to one particular diagnosis. One need to know the duration of symptoms, any objective joint swelling, stiffness in the morning, improvement with anti inflammatory medicines, any associated symptoms such as feeling of fever , lethargy etc. In short you will need to visit a Rheumatologist to make sure these symptoms are not result of Rheumatoid arthritis or any other rheumatic condition. I wouldn't advise getting unnecessary tests until you have seen a qualified Rheumatologist.
Next Steps
History and physical exam and then relevant blood tests
