Covishield side effect
Dear Doctor I have taken first covishield dose on 2nd June.I have read astrazeneca vaccine is restricted in many European countries because of blood clot side effect. please suggests how can check cloting side effect?Can I go for certain test. I am in very tense situation.

Blood clot risk is 0.6 in 1 million. There is no test. You have more risk of bloodclots by exposure to smoking ( active and passive) You don't have to be tense. European countries who have studied the vaccine have found no direct co- relation of blood clot to vaccine. Vaccine has made people like you hypervigilant and hence more diseases related and unrelated to covid are being brought to medical attention.

Hi No need of getting tense dear. It's safe and quite effective infact far better than European vaccines. Common side effects to this is Fever ,malaise, weakness for initial one to two days ,that's all
