Covid report cam negative, now what?
My friend was not tested positive for Covid-19 but had all the symptoms, bodyache, high fever, loss of smell and taste, coughing, lethargy. He is also a smoker. This was on 16th of April. I wanted to know if any extra tests should be done now, such as a chest x-ray or an ECG because I'm hearing a lot of cases where especially men his age are dying of heart attacks which happen 1-2 months even after recovery from Covid-19.

First of all your friend should have got tested for COVID if he had all the symptoms. Secondly to assess the recovery we do blood tests instead of CXR or CT SCAN as findings in the CT Scan might persist for 4-6weeks after recovery so it's not used assess the prognosis. Certain blood tests needed to be done at the earliest.
