COVID Pneumonia
My mother was admitted in Military Hospital Ambala due to oxygen droped and now she is on Ventilator due to COVID pneumonia. Dr tells that her lungs are filled with water and damaged approx 70-80%. Now she is on high level oxygen and maintaining 85-90% oxygen since last 5 days. Please tells that what are the chances about her and in how much time she can cure?

Theoretically speaking there are always chances for a patient to recover from this kind of situation... I work in Critical care and have seen all these hopes shattering sometimes... Frankly speaking there are very less chances for recovery of an intubated COVID pneumonitis patient... Be in touch with the treating doctor and keep praying.. Thats what you really can do at this point of time.. At the same time be practical and try to understand the grave situation... Be positive and just hope for the best 👍
