COVID for a diabetic patient
My father(58) is covid positive and his blood oxygen count is decreasing rapidly! I am from prayagraj and am confused about whether to admit him to a hospital here or shall we take him to delhi for better treatment! My father is a diabetes patient with previous experiences in pneumonia.He is also very stressed regarding the fact thhat he will be given steroids inside the hospital premises and will not be under surveillance by any of us.Kindly help me by providing some suggestions and your thoughts on this!Thank you

If the doctors at the Covid Hospital at Prayagraj are informed of his comorbidities, I am sure they will administer him human Actrapid insulin in drips by titrating with GRBS while administering the steroids to avoid hyperglycemia.
