Coughing with choking sensation
I had gone to shimla around 10 days back. I have developed cough since then. After coughing, i spit the mucus that is green and black in colour. Since last 4-5 days, i choke while coughing. Referred a doctor today, he suggested to take ambrolite s, rabicip and histafree for 10 days. In case i dont get relief in a day, he suggested to take following tests: hemogram, serum lge level and cxr pa.
Please suggest what should i do.

You seem to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of airway infection. You may need to take antibiotics along with prescribed medication as chances of secondary bacterial infection is very high. Steam inhalation is also beneficial
