Cough syrup addiction
I started taking 10-20ml cough syrup very often when ever I was anxious or depressed and it was working as a partial sedative, Recently once I had a whole 100ml bottle of cough syrup which left me bed ridden for nearly 2 days with nausea, diarrhea & complete giddiness. I read few on sites that this is not good & can be life threatening but I can't control my urge to have cough syrup when ever I feel depressed. I usually consume cipla cof-ryl. How can I get rid of this growing cough syrup addition?

Instead of getting addicted to a substance why not get addicted to something more substantial? Please practice transcendental meditation by reading Srila Prabhupada's books.
