Cough syrup addiction

I started taking 10-20ml cough syrup very often when ever I was anxious or depressed and it was working as a partial sedative, Recently once I had a whole 100ml bottle of cough syrup which left me bed ridden for nearly 2 days with nausea, diarrhea & complete giddiness. I read few on sites that this is not good & can be life threatening but I can't control my urge to have cough syrup when ever I feel depressed. I usually consume cipla cof-ryl. How can I get rid of this growing cough syrup addition?

Dear it's a drug abuse , so u need treatment. U consult psychetrist as early as possible as u described u got addicted so need of treatment.

You start taking psychiatrist treatment seriously and as early as possible. Also inform your parents about it. You will come out of addiction. You need professional help.
