Cough led to left upper chest pain
It's was my first life time I ever experienced cough without a fever. I had fever initially for two days. Later I had several cold. Then I was alright. A day later I had cough alone. It didn't stop at all. It continued and eventually I died almost coughing so heavily and badly. I never experienced such a cough in my life. Now a day ago I started to experience pain on my left chest upper and side ways. I feel severe pain while cough, breath and sneeze. It also pains when I lay down. Painful

Hi. I understand your concern s. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like chest x ray to look for any infection. Also a pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of bronchitis. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.
