I’ve had a cough and congested sinuses for about 4 days. Cough is very deep and I keep coughing up mucus. I woke up this morning and my eyes were more red than usual and had a lot of discharge.

You seem to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat infection. Usually nose and eyes are also get infected. You may need to take antibiotics and cough syrups along with antibiotic eye drops for few days
