My mother is suffering from mitral stenosis heart condition. She is under follow medication: Eliquis, Claptin SR 120, Dytor
Recently she started coughing , running nose and fever. I thought this could be a viral infection so took her to doctor.Doctor did her ecg and said that it was fine and prescribed one cough syrup called Alex. It is also a decongestant . Decongestant should be avoided in heart patients . Previously she has been taking Grilinctus, do I give her this syrup.
