Cough at night
My son is 4 year old. I took him to doctor for cold and cough but the doctor didn't prescribe any medicine saying he's still small and doesn't want to give medicine to children. Which I understand her point. However, I'm giving honey and doing the steaming in the room to help him to sleep but his cough increases at mid night. What else can I do to help him?

There are syrup formulations available for 4 years old. For the cold if there is no fever, please give syp sinarest AF 4 ml thrice a day. You can continue honey and steam. Be acutious of burns. If persistent please do an online consultation Regards Dr Neha Pandey MBBS MD DNB FMUHS FISPN PediaCare Clinic Malad West
