COPD with relapse TB
My Dad recently got admitted bcoz of chest pain with fever and doctor treated him for pneumonia and relapse of TB and after 6 weeks culture report in negative and currently he is on AKT -4 (Advise for 9 months) and strptomycin ( advised for 3 months) with 3 times nebulzation of Budecot/I pravent. He also advised to be on Bipap with 4/8 for entire night. His saturation levels are 93-95 % please suggest how long he should be on Bipap or is it permenent support for lifetime?

It depends on your father health condition and severity of COPD. Not fixed for any certain duration. Consult a chest specialist , he will guide you.
