Hi,
How about finding out the reason of heavy bleeding which lasted for 10 days. Taking medicines just to get OK for the time being is certainly not the treatment for the problem. The problem/ailment unless not investigated and treated in a proper way would mean trouble, especially if you are planning for pregnancy.
Next Steps
If your cycles have been behaving in the same manner for a longer time, as mentioned by you above, then I would suggest you to go for an ultrasound.
Health Tips
Incase you need any help, kindly proceed with the most natural form of treatment, Ayurveda. The treatment would be free from side effects and would gradually improve the overall condition by eliminating the root cause.
