Continuing fever post vaccine
I took covishield vaccine on 15th May (Saturday). I was fine on Saturday but since Sunday early morning I have been running fever. Have taken 5 paracetamols since onset of fever up until now. Fever goes down few hours after consuming paracetamol only for it to come back again. Currently it is hovering near 99-100 range. It is now 3rd day since onset of fever, is this normal for fever to continue for this long as immune system's response to vaccine? Is any other medication like antibiotics etc. recommended at this point?

It is recommended for you get a RT-PCR test done. Fever does not last for this long due to vaccination.

Please get an RT-PCR test done, fever should have subsided by now if it was only an after effect of the medicine given the number of paracetamols you have already taken. Consult a doctor for proper analysis of symptoms and next steps.
