Redness on my skin started with a small pin point and keep spreading along with itching. It is appearing on my back palm, shoulder, stomach skin, and neck. I have used few ointments like ring guard, fourderm, pander etc but these provided initial relief only and problem is still continuing from last couple of months. Please advise and suggest for skin tests if any.

You may be having fungal infection under your armpits. The treatment is simple. You have to take anti fungal tablets and creams for few weeks following which it resolves. Do not apply soap on that area and do not self treat with over the counter steroid creams like panderm. They have lot of side effects and are not supposed to be used for fungus. Kindly send photos for accurate diagnosis or visit a dermatologist. If this is fungal infection, it needs to be treated as early as possible as it will spread further on your body and also to other people in the household.
