Constipation post delivery
I delivered a month ago. From past 2 weeks I am having severe constipation along with bleeding, post which there is burning and the whole area feels sore.i can feel skin protruding out of my anal region.i am drinking almost 4 ltrs of water daily, high fibre diet with leafy veggies and oats everyday, fruits. Inspite of that the start of the stool is always painful and then it gets soft and easy to pass. Please suggest how to get rid of this

Your symptoms are suggestive of hemorrhoids. I would advise you to meet a general surgeon so that you can be examined and graded, the choice of treatment has to be decided by the stage of the hemorrhoids. You will need laxatives and topical corticosteroid cream to control the current situation. These following steps may help: - Do not strain during bowel movements - Reduce weight as per your BMI(Maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI) - Exercise regularly (30-45mins per day) - Eat food rich in fiber and bran based cereals - Have laxatives for strain to be reduced during bowel movements
