My father underwent tracheostomy few days back. Right now he is discharged from hospital and at home. He is taking
okacet 10 mg once daily
Oritaxim-o 200 twice daily
Paracetamol IP 500 mg twice daily
Ambroxol HCl 30 mg thrice daily
For last 3 days he is having these prescribed medicines, but he has complained that he did not have motion for last 3 days. Yesterday he felt dizzy and vomited also. Fearing it is gas or constipation.
Need suggestion....

Hi, he must be bed ridden for couple of days during the period of tracheostomy and associated problems.
He needs good laxative to smoothen the stool.
For immediate relief and for good evacuation its better to give a Proctoclysis enema followed by syrup Duphalac 30 ml daily at night after food.
