Constant Cough
I have a mild sinus as diagnosed by a doctor because of which I am coughing a lot. I was taking Himalaya Bresol for a month which helped and the cough went away. After I stopped taking that medicine the problem started again. I am looking for a Alternative Medicine treatment before visting any doctor. I would be highly grateful if you could provide the same.

Hello dear, you are probably suffering from an allergic disorder like allergic pharyngitis which may be related to some impairment of your immune system hence the recurrence of cough. This can be caused by several factors like stress, lifestyle issues, some underlying chronic disorder, etc. Homeopathy works best for recurrent cough and related allergic disorders but for curative effect in homeopathy detailed systematic case taking is mandatory for individualisation and affective prescription. Remember, in homeopathy, there is no patent/fixed medicine for any condition. For proper treatment you need to give more details of your condition. You may also get these tests done : CBC Haemogram, ESR, Serum IgE Homeopathic medicines you can try: Ars. Alb., Kali. Bich., Bryonia, Spongia, etc. I have deliberately not mentioned the potencies as these or any homeopathic medicine should be prescribed only after proper evaluation of the symptoms by an experienced doctor. Beware, although it is widely claimed by many that homeopathic medicines have no side effects (which is true as far as physiochemical reaction is concerned), but incorrect or 'palliative' or arbitrary OTC consumption of homeopathic medicines can alter the totality of symptoms and make correct Homoeopathic prescription all that more difficult.

Tips: 1) Access your lifestyle for any acute or chronic stress and change accordingly.
