Collarbone broken
Sir before 2 years i met with an accident and my collarbone got broken in accident. But till now bone couldnot heal. Still it is in broken position i dont have any pain but when i pull some heavy weight etc.. then i feel that my collarbone is not in gud condition. i want to go for surgery to heal bone. Should i go for surgery or not? Kindly suggest me

Hello there..... Most clavicle fractures occur in the midshaft and can be treated nonoperatively..... Surgery might be required if the fractured collarbone has broken through your skin, is severely displaced or is in several pieces..... Bone union usually takes three to six weeks for children and six to 12 weeks for adults.... Consult Orthopedician for further advice.....
