I'm getting cold / minty sensation inside my throat . It's been almost a week now, and I have stopped smoking thinking it might be the cause. I have read in forums that it may be related to acid reflux ..I am not sure how it occurs...Please help !

Hello there.
There are other many causes than acid reflux.
And moreover, acid reflux will present as a burning sensation from the stomach and chest area.
Pharyngitis should be ruled out. So consult a ENT Specialist near you.
Don't do any self medication based on reading online.
