Cold followed by fever
Developed a bad throat which was followed by a cold after 3 days. A day later in the evening, I experienced a 100 degree Fahrenheit fever. Took amoxicillin in night with. Crocin and citrizine. Symptoms continued to prevail in morning as well, took another amoxicillin and Crocin, temp got reduced to 99.2 for an hour or so, after that and since now it has been steady at 100.. Just half an.hour before took another Crocin and amoxicillin, but symptoms still persist. Cold(blocked nose which becomes runny sometimes) and more or less constant fever at 100. Should I switch from amoxicillin to a stronger antibiotic or continue the current course for a while?

I would suggest you to contact a Physician near by for a thorough examination and a valid prescription. Self medication is not always right.
