Cold and cough during pregnancy
Hello Doctors,
I'm in 2nd trimester of pregnancy, I have cold and dry cough since 2 days. Salt water gargling twice a day and taking steam, drinking warm water. What else will help me to get rid of this at the earliest.
Is sinarest safe in pregnancy?
Please suggest some home remedies or medicine.

Cold and dry cough in the 2nd trimester are usually viral and settle on their own. Continue warm fluids, steam inhalation, gargles, and you may take honey; Sinarest is not advised in pregnancy do not take without your Gynec consult. Use only paracetamol or saline nasal drops if needed and consult your doctor if fever or symptoms worsen

You can continue salt water gargling and steam inhalation
You can add chlorhexidine mouth wash alternatively with salt water gargling
You can take tab cetrizine 10mg at night if you’ve too much cold not subsiding with these conservative treatment
