Cmv igg and toxoplasma igg reactive
Hello doc. I did my test in Feb month and my cmv and toxoplasma igg were positive so Doc said to take Zovirax, Rovamycin and Torchnil for one month. I repeated my test Last week and my cmv igg and toxoplasma igg have shown reactive and increased. This was my second test. Doc asked to continue with the same medicines till they come down. Also these days currently having throat and ear pain and hands swelling. Are these because of these virus?? Can I concieve ? Will it affect my sex life with my husband?? Planning for a baby in next four months. I had to abort a baby in 2017 due to spina bifida. I am diabetic and have thyroid. Please help.

TORCH tests are not required.. Even if you have done ,than IgG positive means your are immune to these infections or on other words you are protected against these infections .. Only if Ig M are positive, we need to be concerned or require further investigations.. You can conceive & it won’t affect your husband. Just before conceiving optimise your blood sugar & Thyroid .. Need to start folic acid ..
