CKD and dialysis advised
My father Narayanankutty Nair currently admitted in Sayadri Hosp and he is having CKD.He will be discharged on Wed and after 12hrs of his dialysis his Creat is 3.10 and Urea 90-100. Dr advised every alternate day dialysis till 2 months. His urine output is around 500ml from 2lrs of input. Please suggest further

hello der as ur father is suffering from chronic kidney disease even on dialysis the creatinine is not in normal range its almost in above the upper limit of normal....every alternative day dialysis is also assosciated with many adverse affects like thromboembolism fever delirium. ..best option available is kidney transplantation....kindly consult nephrologist....
