Chronic Epididymis
Hi, This January suddenly my right groin starts to hurt and soon I find out that my right testicle is painful and tender to touch. I went for a physical examination to an urologist, USG came out for as mild orchitis and urine culture and rountine came out normal. I followed the 2 week antibiotics but didn't feel better. Then due to my new job and everything, I didn't go for any treatment for atleast 20 days and then I went back to an urologist he also suggested me an Usg with urine culture, Usg came out as Chronic epididymis Pathology and urine culture came out as sterile. This time, he gave me 3 weeks antibiotic, ofloflaxin and Doxycycline both. Now, it's june and I have still not recovered. The epidymis is still swollen. I don't know what to do, pls help.

Hey!! Not to worry about it.. I would like you to start a course of tablets for 21 days for a parasitic infestation which might be a common cause for epididymis along with few common habits to be followed which may help in the treatment as well.
Next Steps
Please start with Tablet Decet BD (Diethylcarbamazine) 1 tab twice daily x 21days, Tab Chymoral Forte 1 tab Twice daily x 7days, Cap Rabeprazole 1 Cap OD X 10 Days, Tab PCM(650) 1 Tab SOS(If Pains).Follow Up after 21 days
Health Tips
Kindly keep wearing you underwear which should be a fitting one continuously during day and remove while sleeping.
