Chronic Dry Cough
My mother has been having sever
e chronic cough since last 15years. Doctors say it is an allergy, gave tablets and cough syrup which has been of no help.
I want to know which doctor to consult for this. Please assist.

Chronic dry cough can occur because of various reasons including allergy. Diagnosis needs to be done so as to advise appropriate treatment. You need to consult a chest physician or a pulmonologist for complete examination of lungs and airway and diagnosis of cause for dry cough
