Chronic calculus cholecystitis
USG W/A was done two days back and he has been diagnosed with Gall bladder stone. The report says- GB is physiologically distended. Wall thickness appears normal. Echogenic foci are noted impacted in GBladder lumen (AVG 2.6mm) suggestive of chronic calculus cholecystitis. Sonographic Murphy's sign is -ve. Pls suggest what should be the treatment? Thanks.

What are the symptoms? How often he has pain in abdomen and digestion problem. Depending upon this we can decide whether he needs surgery now or shall we wait and watch

[ ] Hi, if the above mentioned pain in right upper abdomen that means this is symptomatic gall bladder stone and the advice is to get the gall bladder removed laparoscopically , which is a safe surgery and is choice in today's world.
