Chronic acidity and bloating
From yesterday morning, I have had a sore throat which feels like my throat is burnt because of acidity. Hardly a month ago i visited an ENT doctor for cough which was treated after medication. Two days ago, i consumed some acidic food along with a cold drink for dinner. And since a few days, there has been  repair construction of our building which has led to dusty air around us. I guess a combination of these has caused me a sore throat. But i have had this chronic acidity and bloating for years now. Even one meal of acidic food causes me severe acidity. How to cure this acidity so that i can continue with my food habits? I have done betadine gargle and am taking antacid.   So please suggest a solution for my chronic acidity. (Check the attachment, i have uploaded a picture of sore throat). Thank you!

Hello, You have symptoms of Gastritis with repeated episodes of cough, could be ? Reflux or allergic. As you say you have gastritis but you are consuming acidic food & soda, not advisable. It's better to get the gastritis evaluated. Gastritis - is a general terminology, it has to be diagnosed with an endoscope & other causes need to be ruled out.
Next Steps
Visit a General Surgeon for assessment.
Health Tips
