First of all salute to an Indian soldier from our faculty. If your orthopaedician is capable of doing hip Arthroscopy he should be a highly skilled surgeon. Please follow his advice regarding further management. However I am not against chondrocyte implantation. Myself Worked in western countries for 15 years  and have seen all these surgical procedures. Please do not undergo these two stage procedures until your original surgeon recommends. I feel it is my sincere advice and I couldn't hold myself back in doing service to our Indian soldier. Again applauding your work towards our country. Jaihind. Barath Maths ki Jai

It's a quiet content defect .Autologous chondrocyte implantation will help you. It's a surgical procedure in which healthy cartilage from non weight bearing site is removed sent to lab for culture and gel based ACI is done. It is a two stage surgery. Results are promising. Definitely good option
Next Steps
post surgery 4 weeks non weight bearing
Health Tips
replacement is last option
