Cholesterol report
Hello, I am taking tablet Rosuvas 10mg from last 3 months, recently did my lipid test. My LDL was earlier 154 and now it is 85. It's good that LDL decreased. But I am concerned that my HDL aslo decreased, previously it was 36 and now it is 29. Please check the attached report and advise why HDL decreased and should I continue with cholesterol tablet?

Hello, Rosuvas is supposed to increase HDL not decrease it. Your report says your LDL is estimated using calculation method and was not directly measured. I suggest you repeat your lipid profile from a lab which measures LDL directly. Also, to deal with low HDL, lifestyle modification is the only effective way. Consult online directly for further advice Take care
