Childs pancreatitis
I have a child 7 years old she has hyperglycemia at first sugar level reached 500 mg/dl she almost has a coma then after food regulation sugar level got back to normal now it drops sometimes reaches 60 mg/dl we use insulin injections to keep her normal the pancrease is working weakly she has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and we are looking for a solution since she is a child and still growing could you tell us the best solutions for this case

If your child has diabetes due to pancreatitis then she has to be on insulin all her life. Insulin should help her grow normally and keep her sugars under control. Low sugars is one of the side effects of insulin and hence regular blood glucose tests should help. Consult a paediatric endocrinologist
