Dear Practo user, I think the Obstetrician under whose care you were and the pediatrician who attended your baby would be the best persons to consult about this. However, meanwhile you can go through your family history of any relative both on your and your husband's side having had children with similar problems. Are you married to your relative? Is your blood group negative and your husband's positive? Do you, your husband or any other near relative have any history of unusual reaction to a particular drug? Has your Thyroid profile been checked? What about antithyroid antibodies?
