Chikungunya
Sir,
My 9 year old son diagnosed with chikungunya 8 days before, initially he has fever only and he got ok after 4 day.No fever reported 5,6 & 7 day but from 8 th day he is complaining for joint pain with mild fever.
Kindly clarify about the same pls.

Joint pain is very common in chikunguniya fever. Give Syp paracetamol to alleviate pain, give ORS, healthy diet, multivitamins. Can consult online or physically for further details

Body pain is normal in this infection as the name suggests. He will be feeling tired too. Please give plenty of fluids and let him take rest
